Small Habits, Big Wins: A member-led LinkedIn Local
(and why Speakers Society is part of it.)
Some of the most meaningful events don’t start as grand productions.
They start with people who practise what they believe in – and then open the door for others to grow alongside them.
That’s exactly how LinkedIn Local – Singapore: Small Habits, Big Wins came together.

Hosted by Wee Siang Lim and James Ng YJ, this event is rooted in a simple idea:
Real progress comes from small habits, supported by systems that fit real life.
At Speakers Society, we’re honoured to be part of this – not as organisers, but as a community Wee Siang chose to invite in.
A member-led collaboration
Wee Siang Lim isn’t just the host of this LinkedIn Local.
He’s also a member of the Speakers Society.
As someone deeply invested in habit-building, consistency, and showing up sustainably, Wee Siang saw a natural alignment between what this event stands for and what Speakers Society represents – and invited our community to be part of it.
That’s how this collaboration began.
Not through sponsorship.
Not through promotion.
But through shared values.
Not a new you. Just better habits and systems.
This LinkedIn Local isn’t about reinvention.
It’s about refinement.
It’s designed for people who want:
- Better habits, not extreme routines
- Practical systems, not motivational speeches
- Real connection, not surface-level networking
Each session focuses on small, repeatable actions – with guided interaction built in – because habits aren’t built by listening alone. They’re built by practising.
A thoughtfully curated line-up
Together, Wee Siang and James have curated speakers from different backgrounds – health, habits, AI, execution, content, and community – all connected by one belief:
Consistency should support your life, not compete with it.
The talks are grounded, practical, and designed to leave participants with at least one “small win” they can apply immediately.
Why this resonates with Speakers Society
At Speakers Society, we work with people who want to speak – but more importantly, want to show up consistently with clarity and confidence.
We see it every day:
- Confidence is built quietly
- Presence grows through repetition
- And sustainable influence comes from systems, not pressure
That’s why this event feels so aligned with our community.
It reflects the same philosophy we stand for – creating spaces where people can practise, not perform, and grow alongside others on similar journeys.
Where my perspective fits in
As someone building across AI, automation, education, and community, one lesson has stayed constant for me:
Consistency isn’t about motivation.
It’s about design.
That’s what I’ll be sharing in my session, “The Lazy Consistency System: Build Presence With AI + Micro Habits.”
Not as a formula – but as a way of thinking about habits, systems, and support in real life.
Come for the habits. Stay for the community.
At its core, this LinkedIn Local is about people.
Meeting connections in real life.
Having meaningful conversations.
And building habits – not just content.
If this resonates with you:
- Follow Speakers Society to stay connected
- Join the community if you’re exploring speaking and presence
- And attend this event – and future ones like it – if you value growth that’s sustainable
Because big wins don’t come from big moves.
They come from small habits, done well, in the right rooms.
